What are some really romantic restaurants in the Outer Banks?
by Lorraine

My husband and I will be in the Outer Banks with our family during our anniversary. We want to find a restaurant that is really romantic to go to just the two of us. Do you have any suggestions and also anything else that woudl be good to do while we are there?
Thanks

Here are my Romantic Restaurant suggestions by: Outer Banks Revealed
A "romantic" restaurant for me would require a quiet place with great ambiance. It is not a converted store front, but one that even the building breaths uniqueness. The restaurant I have in mind I've mentioned as a great place to get great food, but I also think it fits the bill as a "romantic" restaurant. That would be the Colington Café located in Kill Devil Hills. From the Victorian house in which the Colington is located, to its "off the beaten path" off of Colington Road, I believe the Colington will fit what you are looking for. Oh, and did I mention the food? It is very good.
If you are vacationing on Hatteras Island (Rodanthe to Hatteras Village), I would check out Carolina Blue in Avon. It is located in Avon on the sound side. If you are looking for a restaurant with beautiful sunset views, nice ambiance (and usually live music), then this is the place for you. Also, the food is a bit different, but always very good.
