Public Gardens on the Outer Banks

There are two public gardens highlighted on Outer Banks Revealed. The most famous of the two is the Elizabethan Gardens. It is located in Manteo and was built in memory of the The Lost Colony. The original thought was to build an English Garden in the colonialists memory.

The other was highlighted in an article written by Judith Bailey, an artist on the Outer Banks. Judith writes OBX Hidden Gems, a monthly article of palces for people to see off the beaten track or less well known. Judith wrote about the Outer Banks Arboretum located in Kill Devil Hills.
