Lighthouse Bagels is not to be missed!

A few years ago, my wife and I took a foray north to the Currituck Lighhouse. Along the way, we stopped at Lighthouse Bagels in Corolla for breakfast. If there is any place to stop for bagels, this is the one! These are the best bagels outside of NYC, and I should know, since I grew up there! They are great, especially early in the morning when they are fresh from the oven. They have a wide selection of sandwiches and spreads for the bagels, and the staff is courteous, even when the place is swarming with people.
