...In love with the Outerbanks almost as much as we love each other...

My Fiancé'(Jared) and I are in love with the Outer Banks almost as much as we are in love with each other.

The Outer Banks has been a consistent landmark in our 8 year relationship, and we know it will be apart of our lives forever and a huge part of our children's lives as well.

Our first time to OBX was in May 2003, we were 18 and so in love, and only had been dating for a little over a year.

In 2007, Jared and I went to the Outer Banks just as friends, as we had been apart for a few years but maintained a close friendship. During our week long vacation on the beaches of North Carolina, we fell in love with each other all over again.

This photo was taken in May of 2009, a friend captured this moment for us and while this picture was taken we were discussing how we know we will be in the same spot together 60 years from now.

We will be making our annual trip back to Corolla N.C. in less than 2 months as future Mr. and Mrs. and I know we will sit in this same spot on our beach chairs and look at the ocean thinking about the rest of our lives together.

We plan to have this same picture of us now, and one of us doing the same thing in 50+years.

We have made so many memories in the Outer Banks, and plan to continue this tradition for the rest of our lives!
