Hi Madison,

In order to rent a house on the Outer Banks, you must be 25. That is a requirement of the state of North Carolina and written into every rental agreement. People under the age of 25 must get someone willing to sign the lease who will take on financial responsibility for any damage or problems incurred by the group (think parent).

There are very strict guildines enforced on nonfamily groups which are outlined in this write up.
