Can you please provide some tent camping sites at the Outer Banks

My husband and I camped at beach side camping grounds as we were growing up and feel that it allows us the freedom to enjoy two of our favorite family activities - camping and enjoy the beach at the same time.

Consider the National Park Campgrounds ...

Hi Tammy,

Thank you for your question. There are quite a few campgrounds on the Outer Banks, ranging from tent to RV, from hot water and hook ups to very rustic. What you are describing sounds like the more rustic campgrounds of the National Park Service which are located in the Cape Hatteras National Seashore.

However there are quite a range of different campgrounds you might want to consider that are also privately owned and operated. The Outer Banks camping page lists many alternatives that you might want to consider.
